Automated lead research and enrichment before stand-up.

Every Monday the team feeds Builder a list of 500 target company names. Builder visits each website, pulls LinkedIn, identifies the right contact, enriches with firmographic data, scores against the ideal-buyer profile, and writes a personalised opener: all before morning stand-up.

    Describe the task

Builder can take a flat list of target companies and turn it into a scored, enriched, ready-to-send lead list, no manual research per account. It visits each company’s site, pulls the decision-maker’s profile, checks firmographic fit against your ICP, and drafts an opener that references something real about the account.

The more specific your prompt, the more useful the output. Tell Builder where the list lives, what "good fit" means, and what the output should include, and it will follow that structure every run.

Research and enrich the 500 companies in target-accounts.csv. For each one: - Find the right contact (VP Sales or above, or Head of RevOps) - Pull firmographic data: headcount, funding stage, tech stack if visible - Score fit against our ICP in icp-criteria.pdf (1-10) - Write a 2-sentence personalised opener referencing something specific to that company Group results by score band (8-10, 5-7, below 5). Skip anything below 5 unless flagged manually. End with a summary: total processed, average score, and how many are ready to send today.

  2. 2

    Give Builder context

In a Builder workspace, point the run at the folder or CRM view holding your target list and your ICP definition. Builder reads both together, so the scoring stays consistent across all 500 accounts instead of drifting company to company.

Make sure the ICP criteria document is specific, headcount range, funding stage, industry, existing tools. Vague criteria ("mid-market SaaS") produce vaguer scoring than a document with real thresholds.

    Required context
A target-company list (CSV or synced CRM view) with at minimum company name and domain
An ICP criteria document, headcount, funding stage, industry, and any disqualifiers
    Optional context
HubSpot or Salesforce connector, writes enriched leads directly into the CRM instead of a flat file
Slack connector, posts the ready-to-send batch to your SDR queue each morning
A note on tone in your workspace instructions, so openers match your team’s voice instead of generic outreach copy
    target-accounts.csvicp-criteria.pdfHubSpot (optional)

    What Builder creates

Builder works through the list, visiting each company site and cross-checking against your ICP file. You get a scored, grouped lead list with a contact, a fit score, and a ready-to-send opener for every account, plus a short list of accounts it couldn’t confidently score.

    Follow-up prompts

Push ready-to-send leads straight into HubSpot

With HubSpot connected, Builder creates the contact and company records directly, with the fit score and opener saved as properties, so reps open their queue already loaded.

Push the 187 accounts scored 8 or above into HubSpot as new contacts. Include the fit score and the opener as custom properties, and assign them to the SDR queue named "This Week."

Post this morning’s batch to Slack

With the Slack connector, Builder can drop the ready-to-send list into your SDR channel automatically, so the team starts the day with a queue instead of a spreadsheet.

Post a summary of today’s ready-to-send accounts to #sdr-outbound: company, contact, score, and opener for each of the 8-10 scored accounts.

Save it and put it on a schedule

Once the scoring and format are right, save the setup as a Builder saved runbook, then schedule it to run every Monday morning against whatever’s new in the target list.

Save this as a runbook called "weekly-lead-research", then schedule it to run every Monday at 7am against target-accounts.csv and post the summary to #sdr-outbound.

    Tips and troubleshooting

Give Builder real thresholds, not adjectives

"Mid-market SaaS" scores inconsistently across 500 companies. "50-500 employees, raised a Series A or later, uses a CRM" scores the same way every time. Specific criteria in your ICP document is the single biggest lever on output quality.

Large lists run in the background

500 companies takes roughly 8 minutes. You can close the tab and check back, or ask Builder to notify you in Slack when the batch finishes rather than watching it run.

Tell Builder what "unscoreable" should mean

By default Builder flags accounts it can’t confidently score rather than guessing. If you’d rather it make a best-effort score with a lower confidence note instead of skipping the account, say so in the prompt.
